If you are a hardtail purist who enjoys sessioning enduro tracks, like chasing your full suspension buddies down the hill or think about taking your hardtail skills to an enduro race, then the Big Trail 700 is the perfect choice, created by request from riders to add an even more capable trail bike to Merida’s line-up. The new top dog of the Big Trail family, the Big Trail 700 offers up quality components paired with proven trail bike geometry, making it ready for anything you can throw at it. The lightweight alloy frame offers up modern trail bike geometry with long reach, slack head angle, steep seat angle and extremely low standover height and is spec’d with some top level components, from the 140mm Fox 34 Float Performance fork, Shimano SLX drivetrain and hubs, and burly Shimano SLX 4 piston hydraulic disc brakes. Fast rolling 29er wheels are kitted out with Maxxis Dissector tyres. Of course, no bike built for singletrack shenanigans is complete without a dropper seatpost.
